Our client is a mid-sized southeast firm in growth mode, embodied by significant investment into their London presence over the past twelve months. They are looking to hire a Corporate Commercial Partner as part of a succession planning process.
The firm has been established in the southeast for many decades. With multiple directory ratings they are well regarded amongst SMEs and high net worth individuals in London and the southeast.
There are currently two partners on the commercial side, and with succession in mind they are keen to recruit someone to work closely with a partner we know well, mine the significant internal market and bring some complementary relationships.
The current diet of the department is based around commercial contracts for small and mid-sized businesses, transactional M&A and finance. So, City partners with IP/IT and big-ticket M&A practices are unlikely to find this the right platform. It would however suit a generalist (either partner or senior associate level) in a mid-market, west end, boutique or regional firm who is looking for an opportunity that will allow them to take a prominent role and build a team amongst down to earth and supportive colleagues.
